Our Queensland Government approved Kindergarten program supports children who turn four by 30 June in their kindergarten year and are preparing to start Prep the following year. Led by qualified early childhood teachers, our program embraces each child’s interests, strengths and individual learning needs, building a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

We are proud to offer the Queensland Government’s Free Kindy program, providing eligible children with 15 hours of free kindergarten per week for up to 40 weeks in the year before they start school. Through play-based experiences, children build confidence, develop friendships and discover new skills. Free Kindy covers the kindergarten program; additional care hours may attract fees. Guided by the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline, our curriculum supports each child’s learning and development at their own pace. Our educators create a caring, nurturing environment where children feel a sense of belonging and are encouraged to explore, imagine and celebrate their achievements.

Our Kindergarten studio offers connected indoor and outdoor spaces that encourage children to follow their interests. There are opportunities for active play, creativity and messy exploration, alongside welcoming spaces for quiet time and reflection.

Play-based learning in natural environments inspires curiosity, wonder and open-ended discovery. Through everyday experiences, children learn to care for the natural world and develop an understanding of sustainability.

We value strong partnerships with families and work together to support each child’s development and preparation for school. Our early childhood teachers prepare transition statements that share each child’s strengths, interests and learning progress with their future school, helping support continuity of learning.

Throughout their kindergarten year, children develop the confidence, independence, social connections and foundational skills that support a positive transition to Prep.
