About Us
A 112 place centre catering for children from the ages of 6 weeks to 5 years, our wonderful Educators have delighted in establishing Deebing Heights Early Learning as a leader in early learning and childcare in Ipswich.
Deebing Heights Early Learning Centre is located at 59 Rawlings Road Deebing Heights, next door to Deebing Heights State School. Seeing the need for a state of the art early learning service in one of the fastest growing corridors in Ipswich and South East Queensland, our Deebing Heights centre opened in June 2020. A 112 place centre catering for children from the ages of 6 weeks to 5 years, our wonderful Educators have delighted in establishing Deebing Heights Early Learning as a leader in early learning and childcare in Ipswich.
Studios
Nursery
Our nursery room has a large open airy space that enables babies to move freely in separate areas to explore or lay quietly depending on age and development. Our educators build strong connections with our earliest learners and families knowing this is often their first introduction to care.

Toddlers
Our Toddler educators support children through a program of play-based learning to help exploration of own strengths and interests, whilst leaning from peers. Our Toddler studio finds a balance between routine and flexibility to give our toddlers as much independence as they can manage.

Junior Kindy
Our Junior Kindy caters for children 2 to 3 years of age where language development is strong. Children learn through play and through spontaneous and planned learning experiences and interactions. Our play-based curriculum allows children to explore ideas, make connections, solve problems, and engage with others in a social setting.

Pre-Kindy
Our Pre-Kindy studio caters for our 3 to 4 year olds to prepare for the transition to Kindergarten the following year. We are very fortunate to have a Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teacher who has been at the service for over 15 years lead this studio. As children reach their milestones, this year is particularly important to facilitate children to become independent, competent and capable.

Kindergarten
We run a QLD Approved Kindergarten program for children turning 4 by the 30th of June each year and move to Prep the following year. Our Kindergarten program is dedicated to your child’s unique learning style and our educators are experienced in preparing them in their lifelong journey. Our Curriculum is guided by the Government Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines to ensure that every child’s individual outcomes are met.

OHSC
Our OSHC studio provides a stimulating environment for school aged children. We offer Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care.

Our Leadership Team
Louise Thomas
Consulting Manager
Louise Thomas is a passionate Early Childhood Management Consultant, and integral member of the Dandelion Management team, having worked with the Dandelion group since its inception. With over 30 years experience in the early learning sector, Louise has fulfilled various roles within the industry and holds a Certificate III in Child Care, Associate diploma in Child Care, an Advanced Diploma in Community Services (Childcare), and a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment as well as qualifications in Human Resources. Currently Louise holds a volunteer position as a committee member with Australian Child Care Alliance QLD (ACA), and in 2018, was nominated to become a CAECE (College for Australian Early Childhood Educators) board member.
Tania Clarke
Nominated Supervisor
Tania completed her Advanced Diploma in Education and Care in 2007 and has been emersed in the Early Childhood industry ever since. Tania has been in a Nominated Supervisor role since 2005 and has had 22 extensive years of experience in the sector, having worked across all service positions. Tania's philosophy is to strive for the highest quality of care by engaging, interacting, teaching, mentoring and guiding team members to be the best they can be, so that they are able to have the skills required to support children in their development. Tania understands the high quality and expectations that families have of their centre on a daily basis. She has a wonderful personable approach in addition to her leadership and extensive knowledge and understanding of the industry. "My door is always open to families for any questions that may arise to assist in creating a welcoming and relaxed environment".
